Consuelo Vanderbilt (March 2, 1877 – December 6, 1964) was an American socialite and member of the Vanderbilt family. Her first marriage to the 9th Duke of Marlborough has become a well-known example of advantageous but loveless wedlocks common during the Gilded Age, earning her the alias as one of the earliest ‘dollar princesses.’
