I can see why people may believe that she’s an INTP. INFP is similar to INTP the difference is their Fi, Fe, and Te. For her Fi, it’s apparent that she incorporates a lot of her own personal values and ethical considerations in her thinking. She seems to display more open body language, soft facial expressions, and empathy when interacting with others. She also shows empathy through physical touch or comforting gestures. For her Te, it seems that she doesn’t seem like she has the ability for structure but she has passion for her own causes. In this case, her cause would be to save her family. INTPs on the other hand, are Ti dominant and Fe inferior. INTPs Ti makes their body language more reserved. It also makes them more contemplative rather than engaged compared to an INFP. Their inferior Fe, makes them less attuned to social dynamics. They are less likely to think in the moment “how can I comfort this person”. Their emotional expression can be difficult to be interpreted by others. INFP are more tuned with emotional expression and people may have a better understanding of their intentions. INTP tend to say and do things that make sense without putting into consideration how to physically and emotionally support someone. That’s not to say that they’re cold or anything, to INTP they are more likely to find a solution to someone’s problem. They have a hard time grasping on how to display empathy. It doesn’t mean they don’t have empathy. It’s just how they both deal with someone’s emotional turmoil in their own way.
