After reading @Hange Zoe Appreciator’s comment, I’ve given some thought into jasmine being a type 2 and have come to the conclusion she’s 2w3 sx/so! On S4 EP3, Jasmine is suffering from breaking up with Ruby and she says “When I was with him, i could focus all my thoughts on loving him.” After that, Monse questioned her about doing everything for Ruby and nothing for herself, Jasmine states that she “likes concentrating on the things she loves, and between taking care of her dad and taking care of Ruby, there’s not much left for her to do for herself.” Throughout their whole conversation, Monse highlights the fact that Jasmine puts too much time into taking care of others as if that’s the only valuable thing she can offer, which fits Enneagram Two’s coping mechanism: feeling that they’re unworthy of love, 2s seek ways of giving to others as a way of being loved in return. It’s like they unconsciouly believe that they have to give in order to get, a mindset that makes them put other people’s needs ahead of their own. If we take a look into previous seasons, Jasmine spends most of her time trying to impress Ruby by doing things for him, complementing him, showing him that she is the person who can truly love him and be his special one, which again fits Two’s strategy of getting recognition: by seduction and caretaking. ⬇️ « Sexual Twos are the true intimacy junkies of the Enneagram. If Social Twos want to be everybody's friend, Sexual Twos want to be one persons best friend: they focus on a few individuals and like to see themselves as their friends' number-one intimate, their closest confidante.» I do believe Jasmine has 7 as her second fix, but I just don’t see 7’s excitement-seeking and gluttony in Jasmine nor do I see her constantly engaging in fun activies as a way of distracting and “putting aside” her problems. Her main traits are her role of Ruby’s caretaker and her craving for love and intimacy, which shows that 2 > 7!
