(outdated comment) Agott is an LSE. Fi base is strange for her when it's quickly apparent from the first few chapters that her Fi is very weak. I don't think she's Ne PoLR in general, either, so I'm ruling out LSI too. She also just shows way more socio Te imo. Since she's a kid (and most importantly, a realistically-written and believable kid, which is vanishingly rare in manga), you'll notice the clumsiness of her super-id functions more clearly, since they only really "develop" through life experience. These would be Ne and Fi in the case of LSE. Coincidentally, Ne and Fi are likely Coco's ego functions, which makes sense considering their status as foils. I don't put much weight on ITRs beyond finding them interesting, but the two of them having an activator relationship (albeit one that got off to a rocky start) in socionics makes a lot of sense to me. The fact that they play off of each other's strengths and learn a lot from each other's differences is a common focus in WHA so far. Agott's Te is naturally strong from the start. She is pragmatic, studious, booksmart, holds high standards for herself and others, naturally takes charge, quick to correct others on the right (as in: most efficient) way to do things, and an adept learner in the realm of practical knowledge. She's focused on the usefulness of things rather than the structure or coherence of things, typically, which is one differentiating factor between valued Te and Ti. She also displays a very flexible use of thinking, being able to adjust spells on the fly pretty often in the story so far, which shows Te's dynamic nature compared to the static one of Ti, which isn't as quick or adaptable. Si creative also makes LSEs very organized, detail-oriented people, which applies to Agott as well. "Unlike the signs of might we normally use... it's not as practical and there are plenty of varieties. They can take up half a ring, and for all their flashiness, they're impractical, so they're falling out of use. Now they're only used in hobby magic. But I still like it. I'm drawn to its beauty." -Agott (chapter 58) I also think she values Ne. xSIs are Ne PoLR which makes them rather unadaptable, struggle to suss out the hidden potential of objects, and actively try to limit their options instead of expand them. While Agott is more by-the-book and habit-bound than an Ne ego, sometimes even close-minded, she's still more adaptable and receptive to change than an Ne PoLR would be. This is also thanks to the dynamic nature of Te, but Agott searches for different methods as a means to improve her skills; she expands her options for improvement instead of narrowing them down. I think she wants to know how to search the "essence" of things (Ne) in the way that characters with stronger Ne do, in order to find the best solutions, because she thinks it will help her and others in some way. She wants that despite it not being something she's naturally as good at, which points to valued but unconscious Ne. I believe Ne activating is pretty appropriate for her given the context, since the activating function is something we will cryptically seek from others. I think her improvisation on Coco's water jug spell during the Silver Eve parade shows a good example of her use of both Te and Ne, but she displays this ingenuity a few times in the story. As for ethical functions (Fi/Fe), she's very stunted in the realm of expression and interpersonal relationships... that's pretty obvious. She doesn't really understand how to connect with others well at all which turns her into something of a loner (along with her being generally introverted. this is pretty common for Te base/dom, especially with a more "introverted" enneatype like sp3), but she still tries at a few points. Connection is something she wants. You can observe this in many of her interactions with Coco, where you can tell she wants to communicate and be closer to her, but doesn't quite know how she feels or how to go about expressing it, and typically just gives up and/or gets flustered early on in the story. Interpersonal connection and relationships, the psychological distance between yourself and others, is the domain of socio Fi. Socio Fe moreso relates to emotional atmosphere, mood, and expression, with super-id Fe needing others to create good atmospheres for them to feel comfortable and express themselves in, which she doesn't seem to acknowledge much. Her expression of Fe seems very much like the typical LxE's businesslike approach to the function, where they are polite and proper but otherwise just not very invested. Fi suggestive types are very shy about expressing their personal sentiments; they can instead try to rationalize other people's behavior rather than communicate. Agott does this a few times.
Biographie
A black-haired girl from the renowned Arklaum family, one of the houses who established the vow to keep the magic arts a secret to the general populace. Agott was cast out during her test for apprenticeship when malicious rumors surfaced that the magic she was to present at her trial was someone else's. Upon becoming Qifrey's student, she became a bitter loner, obsessed with perfecting her magic skills under her own power, and distanced herself from the other students. Still, her precision in drawing rune circles makes her very popular with her schoolmates, who often approach her for help or advice. #HibikuYamamura
