hear me out; S1E7. the girls are figuring out how to get Zac to open up to them. Lyla says, "He must be feeling lonely." she naturally and empathetically perceives his emotions. from there, her approach is to try to connect with him emotionally so he will trust her. her whole conversation with him by the dock is her expressing the benefits of Zac opening up to trusted people (her) about his feelings. because of their inferior Fi, Te-doms often view emotions as a weakness, whereas Lyla seems to value emotions much more than the typical Te-dom. not only does her approach revolve around emotions, but she also easily understands what Zac must be feeling and uses that to try to connect with him. taking this into account, i don't think her feeling function makes much sense as inferior; she seems to have a very healthy, comfortable usage of her feeling function.
