He's analyzes and makes observations about things using knowledge acquired through reading, studying, hanging out with Moby, his other friends and so on and so forth. A recurring joke is how serious, strict, and one track minded the guy can be, particularly when met with Moby's (obvious Ne dom) antics. And how antsy and flustered he gets when something is repeatedly gotten wrong or is done not according to correctness and safe rigidity.
