For everyone wondering why ISFP, as these comments have no real explanation for his type, here: Fi: LaKeith has described himself as very in touch with his own emotions and often times finds it difficult to separate his real emotions when acting. This is demonstrated in an interview with Level, where LaKeith revealed that he had to go to therapy after his role in Judas and The Black Messiah. Here he explained that his connection to Fred Hampton, actor Daniel Kaluuya who portrayed Fred Hampton, and the overall story made it difficult for him to separate his real emotions from his acting. He points to a cut scene of him having to poison Hampton as an example. LaKeith’s dominant Fi becomes even more evident when he reflects on his panic attacks from such and decision to see a therapist “So sometimes your body thinks that’s real, everything you’re putting it through. It’s no wonder I’ve been feeling so stressed out and having panic attacks. I realized going forward before I step into something like that again, maybe have a therapist.” Furthermore, LaKeith utilizes method acting, an emotion-based acting technique, in his roles where an actor aspires to encourage sincere and emotionally expressive performances by fully inhabiting the role of the character. Se-Ni: As aforementioned, LaKeith uses method acting for his roles. Here, an actor will live the character they are playing even when not on stage or in front of the camera. Many method actors often refuse to break character until filming is over. Using method acting, LaKeith completely immerses himself into the role and the information needed to portray such. This is a good example of Se-Ni as his immersion into the role and information allows him to collect such (Se) and process it subconsciously so it becomes him (Ni)
