ISTP is probably most accurate since he relies on physical, real-world experiences to deeply understand his craft of fishing. But his tendency to think things through and understand the risks he takes before acting at all I think shows that his Enneagram type is 5 and not 8 (though 8 is in his tritype probably). I could see ISTJ based on his cautiousness toward risk-taking and tendency to meticulously plan out his actions so nothing goes wrong, that'd be my second guess if not ISTP. But he's definitely not an INTP because he relies too much on literal physical reality to understand the world rather than abstract concepts.

He has hosted several television series, mainly on Animal Planet, most notably River Monsters, and also Jungle Hooks, Mighty Rivers, and Dark Waters. Wade is a lifelong fisherman, studying fishing techniques and information meticulously.
