its so wild to me how faith can be mistyped for soooo long... anyways i do not believe there is any universe where faith beams can be an ENTP. i would like to preface that im still not completely sure and im open to any discussion about it but i am leaning towards ISFP for faith, and enneagram 4w3. first of all a major part of who faith is is the fact that he has zero motivation to do anything. you can gloss over his playboy attitude and other surface level personality traits but the way he was brought up was adjacent to brads upbringing however he had more of a role to fill/shoes to fill with his older brother being helios academys star rookie. eventually he became estranged from brad because his ass didnt want to associate with faith in fear that he would give faith an inferiority complex, but lo and behold he still managed to develop one anyways due to brad pushing him away. even in the ch5 flashback you can see that faith still believes he loves brad but this is short lived because he eventually decides since brad doesnt want anything to do with him, he doesnt want anything to do with brad either. however what strikes me as really odd is that despite knowing that he will never live up to the achievements of his older brother, he still chose to become a hero. for reasons that not even faith himself knows. i see this as the kind of capriciousness associated with Fi dominance, where he is basically led by his own desires rather than logic - because logically, if you have an inferiority complex against your siblings achievements, why would you go into the exact same line of work as your sibling? unless you had something to prove, or something to prove to yourself rather than others. for this reason i dont think he is a 7w8 because i dont think fun is his motivation... or missing out. because faith literally said to junior that he doesnt care if being a hero doesnt work out because he can just be a dj, but even though its what he loves he doesnt think its right for him to do and he cant explain it. if faith was a 7w8 he would probably go chasing girls and and doing dj work full time since he has a lot of fans and hes passionate about music. but he chose to be a hero anyways - put himself through all of that. i understand that it was hard for faith to be living in the shadow of his brother and stuff and i understand that he has this complex where everyone else is racing ahead and he hasnt even reached the starting line yet and he has no motivations and is trying to find one. i see this kind of soul searching journey as Fi, and i think Si really helps with this. "They are more concerned with ensuring their beliefs and behaviors are consistent with an existing standard than they are in formulating their own set of standards. In many ways, they are dependent on what has already been tried and established". This is very faith because hes a very go-with-the-flow kind of person and even though he could just take the easy way out by choosing a different career path, i think some part of him wanted to be closer to his brother, but he doesnt know how to approach it and i think this is going to be how faith gets developed in the future. maybe im looking into this too much happyelements is really good with writing complex and well written characters just that some are obviously more liked than others.... cause you cant give me billy wise development and faith beams development in the same game its just not possible to me cause billy's beginning of development is post chapter 8 of the main story and esp with the circus event where billy gets ON STAGE without his goggles which were a big part of his previous lifestyle which shows how hes growing up moving on getting comfortable whereas ..... idk faiths nonexistent development doesnt sit that right with me cause ik helios is not that old. What makes typing faith confusing is that his motivations were just explained but not went into depth (in chapter 6 and valwest), but i just dont fully understand where theyre trying to go with faith cause yes hes very popular but hes also very one dimensional. i think west valentines was just CONFUSING to me faith beams wise. Cause the point of valentines is that faith learns that he can say no to things and doesnt have to always do what other people want but? thats not explained???? since when did helios say in any other story that faith beams has trouble saying no to people i know he has trouble saying no to women when they ask him out but that just seems like some made up struggle for that specific story. but i dont understand brads complicity in this cause its his fault that faith ended up like this but we hardly ever get to see this from brads perspective esp since brad is a large chunk of faiths character Whereas its just not the case the other way around. either way faith beams is very important to me and i wish him happiness
