I'm waiting for the day PDB users stop typing every nice extrovert ENFP 💀 Elissa bases everything she does on how it'll impact the social environment she's in. The reason she's at odds with Richard when they meet is because he acts based on his logical understanding of the immediate situation (Ti-Se) while Elissa acts based on how the social situation will affect everyone in the future (Fe-Ni). They're each other's cognitive opposites and that's why they spend so much of the first chapters misunderstanding each other. Elissa doesn't prefer to explore ideas and possibilities from a feeling perspective (Ne-Fi) and doesn't put a lot of weight into her own personal values, or at least she doesn't use them to make decisions.
