Salvatore "Sal" Maroni was an Italian mafia boss who took over Carmine Falcone's mob. Maroni, although he admitted to loving his wife, was a disloyal husband. He was also disrespectful to his mistress, even outright stating that he did not want to hear her talk. He also disregarded small laws, as he told his driver not to stop for neither traffic lights nor the police. According to James Levine, Maroni was a schemer who saw himself as a charmer.
