Park yeon jin isn’t a sx2 at her core, she’s a so3. The image she created of herself seems e2 on the outside, but at her core she’s not the fabricated image she creates of herself. People seem to be trapped in that aspect of her, not being able to separate her personality between the facade she hides under and who she really is, hence the sx2 votings. The thing is, yeon jin isn’t motivated by the desire to feel genuinely loved or desired as the e2 would. She’s extremely image conscious and has proven the extreme lengths she’d leap to protect that. “This subtype is the most intense of the 2s, they are obsessed with the desire to be wanted, believing that love is overcoming resistance. They have a superficial personality, they’re also seductive and sexually provocative, almost intoxicated by love.” This is a sx2 description, and I’m going to put it out there: there’s absolutely no fucking way yeon jin is an sx2. Why? Because if you look deeper into her character, you’ll realize she’s not caught up in the feeling of being in love, nor constantly craving it, as a sx2 would. Her whole identity is curated to APPEAR perfect, beautiful, rich, and respected. She doesn’t use people as props to gain love / affection, she instead manipulates them to uphold her winning reputation. Here’s a more fitting so3 description: “Vanity in the sphere of adaptation makes the individual desire a good public image. They do WHATEVER THEY NEED TO DO to keep up their prestigious image, as their biggest LIE is the image of who they are.” She’s built a perfect facade, respected career woman, rich wife, and loving mother. And she’s proven countless times that she’ll go extreme lengths to protect that image. Might I add, this woman does have the most obvious superiority complex ever. Everything she does is to ensure her personal image is threatened and that she maintains her status; remaining untouchable and in control.
