Shion is definitely one of my favourite characters in Hells Paradise; along with other favourites like Senta, Rien and Gantetsusai Tamiya. -Out of all Functions, Extroverted Feeling (Fe☀️) makes the most sense to me. Reasons being like how he "actively" takes responsibility for Social Situations & Emotions of others (something an INFJ won't do directly), is concerned with his social image like high Fe users would have and uses the strong bonds of others in unity to achieve a goal. Unlike an INFJ, who will struggle to be assertive in Social settings due to a weaker Se, he has no problem bringing everyone together for a well thought-out plan (example like when he made a Tao-based circle to neatly group people for a plan). I wouldn't be too surprised if people think he's an Te user due to both types going through a plan for "the greater good", but Te User are more concerned with the Mechanical System of things without Sentimental Emotions in play—while Fe User like him are more attuned with Social Harmony. That's why he also is more rule abiding and strict when Mortality is in play, Fe Users are more connected with the Social Harmony System and get agitated when that gets broken, especially when they are a Fe Dom (similar to how Sagiri was nagging Gabimaru about it, though for her it's more focused on rules as her being an ISTJ in my opinion, but she could also be an ISFJ). That's also why he's more of an inferior Extroverted Thinking (Ti🧪) with how his Fe is prioritised, it's still there but compared to his other used functions it's low. Burdening himself from the responsibility of others is one of his strongest traits, and like I said earlier it's a trait an Fe User has as they take active responsibility from other people's emotions and that's why they blame themselves so hard even though it's technically not their fault (him suffering from Tenza's Death). While he is calm for an Extrovert, he's still rather more reactive to the outer world (hence Fe-Se first and then Ni-Ti). He also likes to sooth the Social Harmony or other people's worries (actively taking responsibility for those around him emotionally), whether it's with his Blind Jokes or just him being empathetic as a kind person, he just understands others very well. -Like others have mentioned, his Ni-Se Axis is very balanced and not like an INFJ. He may be blind, but he can see much better than others. He has no problem being direct with the environment to adapt physically due to his Extroverted Sensing (Se🔥)—but he also manages to form a broad holistic abstract view on his own due to his Introverted Intuition (Ni🔮). His Se is much more reactive since he focuses more on the outside than his inner side (Fe-Se), however we can also see glimpses of him seeing the "potential" of others with his Ni (Fe-Ni, especially with his relationship with Tenza). For Enneagram, I'm not entirely too sure...E1 is definitely possible as either 1w9 or 1w2.
Biographie
Shion is a strict but kind man. He is well aware of the brutal nature of his work as an executioner, opting to spend the rest of his time helping others. Like the other Asaemon, he possesses a strong loyalty to the Yamada clan. He also has a witty sense of humor, often making puns and jokes regarding his eyesight, which has become a major part of his character to the people around him. He is shown to be fearless, showing no fear or hesitation when facing extremely strong enemies.
