People keep arguing that Fisk's manipulation of Dexter is Ni-Fe, but Fe being equated to manipulation skills is an extreme fallacy on this site, that's an ability beyond the scope of cognitive functions. Kingpin couldn’t care less about using Fe to maintain his reputation within his inner circle and manage his group dynamics, he uses cold hard Te in all of his close encounters to both sway and control people. While he does a good job endearing himself to the public as a saviour of sorts, even that is mostly through his Fi-Te self-actualization more so than Fe appeal to the group. People seem to forget is that INFJs are supposed to have Te as a blind spot (i.e. they try to ignore the function's very existence) yet Fisk uses is it constantly (albeit in an immature and unhealthy manner). But his type is still debatable, though his Fi-Si from what I remember was off the charts and vastly more consistent than they INFJ function internal stack (Ni-Ti), which mostly saw in season 3 only. Season 1-2 definitely portrayed him as more of an INFP, and the fact that it’s the INFJs who keep saying he’s a clear INFJ doesn’t give me confidence. Also, Fisk being a meticulous planner doesn’t make him a judger, especially considering how he had the tendency to foresee and devise contingency plans should his tactics fail, which is more indicative of Ne than Ni. In fact, the meticulous way that he plans and while still leaving room for adaptation should something go awry is more Si/Ne than anything. Building off of that, he didn’t even really have a specific vision for how he believed things would play out in the long term, it was mostly just him grasping at any idea/opportunity that he came up with to fulfill his ideals (Fi-Ne). He also seemed to have more of a conscious struggle throughout the show with inferior Te with his angry and impulsive outbursts than he did with inferior Se. An Fi-dom with developed Te makes more sense than an INFJ who consistently defers to Si when reflecting on information, along with regularly using their PoLR function in explosive outbursts. I'm going with INFP for this one. Fisk appears to be labeled as a NJ type because of he's a master strategist/manipulator, but his usage of Ne/Si makes me think that he's just a competent NP who's able to get **** done. Not unlike how Elon Musk is potentially an INTP mistyped as an INTJ for similar reasons.
