ESTP seems unlikely if you watch Manning's speaking engagements on YouTube and read/watch his biographies, which betray a mindset that is heavily influenced by Te. His approach to football was more Te-oriented than any other quarterback I can think of. He was known primarily for aggressively managing all aspects of his offensive unit. His biggest legacy for the game is probably his ability to switch out of a bad play at the line of scrimmage (his audibles). This quick diagnostic ability was made possible by his almost preternatural understanding of the causal effect that each opposing player had in facilitating or impeding the success of whatever play the offense happened to be running at the time (causal object relationships are not handled by Se or Ti). Because of this, I always got the sense that on the field, Manning viewed himself and his teammates not as 'people' but simply as objects with properties, operating within shifting schemas. He was a tightly-wound perfectionist; regardless of what the score was, he wouldn't be having fun unless he and his teammates were executing plays flawlessly and the offense was operating at peak efficiency. (As a caveat here, I should say that perfectionism is the product of Ti or Fi, but because of the overall real-world schematic emphasis, Te is the conscious function here, not Fi.)
