(1) First off, I'm so happy for this site. I remember back in the day, he was heavily typed as an INFP with some INTP comments but mostly INFP. Stephen is not an Fi dom. I understand the INTJ votes, but like the 594 votes we see here. Stephen's inferior yet developing Fe definitely shows in his character. His personality at times is annoying and impossible, but he does contain somewhat of a desire to be liked and harmonious in Ulysses (not Portrait of the Artist). So from Portrait of the Artist Stephen then I understand INTJ votes but he was just an extremely unhealthy INTP imo. Ulysses established to me that he's an INTP. (2) It's hard for me to decide between 514 and 594, but I'm leaning towards 594 just because Ulysses shows a less unhealthy aspect of his character. He was a 514 in Portrait, but because we see such polarizing sides of Stephen's mind it becomes harder to judge him. This sounds counterintuitive but Stephen becomes easier to read when we're witnessing him from Bloom's perspective or a third person one than from inside Stephen's own head
