Not going to go super in depth, but here's a starter: Te - Very by the book character even if he disagrees with certain protocols and regulations. He is an efficient organizer of work and people, so much so that he ends up micromanaging Shawn as well as others. Si - Obsessed with detail and uses it to supplement his Te worldview. Makes a point to teach Shawn how to look for details. leading Shawn to develop his inferior Si. Henry is hyper-observant and is generally a routinely person. Though his memory is not nearly as good as Shawn's, he is still able to recall past events with great detail and use those memories effectively. Ne - He does have it, but it does not come to him as naturally. He does not connect the dots as early as Shawn does but is able to do so after he has exhausted his Te-Si. He also enjoys doing niche, old man activities to stimulate his child Ne. Fi - Henry has a troubled past with his divorce and his previous police work, leading him to stray away from emotions in general. He is not in tune with his inner voice and usually has to do some soul searching when faced with an ethical dilemma. I thought that he was ENTJ for a hot minute but quickly realized that being observant and connecting clues & the past to a bigger picture is more Si-Ne as opposed to Ni-Se.
Biographie
Shawn's father and a retired policeman. He devoted Shawn's childhood to sharpening his skills to a powerful degree though it did lead to a strained relationship. He's well-meaning, but a bit of a control freak.
