I think she's one of the least accurate characters in the whole comic. It's not that easy to understand dom Si and aux Fe, so that's the reason why both Carmen Lee and the readers don't notice it. Penny is a shy, non-problematic girl who is very kind. That is indeed an ISFJ stereotype. But lets look at her character arc: - Crush on an ESTP: he reminds her of her idol (someone she SAID she looks up to [fi]). She did a whole reaserch about him to be shure whom he actually is (fi - si). Much more than Fiona, a supposed INFP in the group, she tries to hide her crush from everybody else (no Fe and Se, strong FiSi - keeping personal things to herself). - Chess hobby: it started cause of missunderstanding, when she thought her crush likes chess. In trying to connect personally with him, she starts learning chess herself (fiNe). I'd like to say more, but the characters are not developed enough to add anything ^_^; And now for wondering, how would Penny behave if she had SiFeTiNe functions. Starting with stating her characteristics: - She's kind and shy; - She likes Zach; - She likes chess ("inspired" by Zach). Let's say her family was watching the thing with her idol and she mentioned she likes him. Then Zach, looking exactly like the guy, would appear in her school. Her sis would encouraged her to talk with him, and Penny, [Fe], would agree and did it. Zach says no, so she's just accepting that and walks away with peace, but remembers that experience for later [Si]. But Penny would still try to find herself some social circle: "that makes sense and Tanya wouldn't feel that she failed in finding me friends". The conversation with Zach was happening in the room the chess club had a meeting in. So she decides to talk with them and easly makes friends [Fe]. She notes in her head: "there's a possibility that Zach likes chess". Until uni she stays in her friend group, what makes her feel safe, stable and wanted [SiFe]. But when she transfers to a new environment, she's kinda lost and she tries to do many different things, but fails in finding a "home-like" stability [SiNe]. She just talks with her roommate and sister, tries her chances in a new chess club. She's nice to everyone, in that way she won't have any problems [SiFe]. But then comes Zach... After all, why not? Why wouldn't she get out of her comfort zone and talk again with him? She at least knows him from her childhood [Si]...
