Biographie

“Alone Infection” is a track in the OST of “Guilty Gear -STRIVE-” and the theme of the character Faust. Throughout Faust’s arc, he has always been attempting to bring himself back from his “greatest failure” to being a sinless, perfect doctor (though this stress was what contributed to his madness in the first place). This contradicts with his constant self-flagellation over his actions as Dr. Baldhead, as in his own eyes, no amount of repentance is ever enough Faust addresses his past self and his decision to change into someone different, telling himself his past and present self "see eye to eye", even though doctor Baldhead isn’t there to agree, which is why he’s saying he told himself “without you”, “you” being Dr. Baldhead. After saving Delilah, Faust had his guilt away and now, he's just one loving doctor who sees the world as anew.
