In the flashbacks, any time Roderick goes to her with a problem she consistently brings him to how they need to play it for the long-term strategy. AND on top of that, her whole obsession with AI and recreating consciousness. But when people come to her (her tech team) with real problems with the technology she doesn’t really accept that. That’s the Se interior, I believe.
