the difference between aemond and actual 8s like daemon and rhaenyra (sp and so, respectively) is that aemond is fundamentally insecure and constantly strives to prove himself as capable, by stealing vhagar as a child, burning his brother, challenging his uncle. he is desperate to prove himself and earn a sense of pride, something that real 8s don't concern themselves with as much. i think his bullies honed in on his insecurity, rhaenyra and daemon wouldn't be in his situation to begin with, do you fr think an 8 would put up with the **** aemond did for as long as he did?
