Okay so I just finished reading this and I’m kind of torn about what her type actually is? A reason as to why I’m so conflicted is that she behaves completely differently in her previous lives? I think her pragmatic nature and obedience towards her Father and willingness to follow authority and what’s familiar would indicate Si to me, and her willingness to please and compromise her own happiness to maintain harmony and please everyone else reminded me of a high Fe user. I think I would’ve typed her as ISFJ in her prior lives, but I don’t know technically if her type can change across lives? So right now I can’t tell if she is an INFJ who’s simply in an Ni-Ti loop, disregarding the feelings of those around her and instead perceiving the world with a hint of skepticism and in an objective light? But the thing is I can’t really see Ni, hence I don’t fully understand the INXJ votes...? Her inner thinking and monologue isn’t really reminiscent of an Ni user who recognises the overarching patterns of each individual incident, I’m not sure if I’m recalling correctly but if she was able to remember her previous lives and the way in which she died over and over, I feel like an Ni user would be able to analyse the exact faults of each life and realise the significance of each incident that caused their death/downfall, and instead try to maximise their chances of survival/success in the future? But even in this life she seems eager to entertain each possibility, and has an opportunistic approach to life that seems atypical of an Ne user? Like in the garden incident when her sister purposefully irked her she didn’t realise it would be meaningless to retaliate, instead she used her powers on her and (if I remember correctly) was rather amused at the prospect of her sister being dangled upside down by these vines? And when her father had trapped her in the hallway she didn’t grow frustrated that her plans were being tampered with and that she couldn’t immediately go into action, but entertained the idea of being trapped and simply and nonchalantly accepted things as they were? I just feel like an Ni Dom, specifically an INTJ would definitely see that as a hindrance or a burden to their plans but she just let it go lol. I think one scene that struck me as more Ti than Te was when she went into the forest and read the inscription, she didn’t abide by instructions and wanted to to test things out for herself, her experimentalism and willingness to explore the truth to its full capacity for herself reminded me more of Ti? Her incessant challenging of known principles, such as the monologue she gave when she entered the forest and ruminated what would occur if three people were to enter and kill each other and then ending it with “...there are still many things I don’t understand” also reminds me of Ti-Ne? Like she’s actively questioning the set rules and how things occur and lead to the way they are, and generating different outcomes and possibilities that could come from this one specific, unlikely scenario? I think also because the Male lead (Axion?) is INTJ, any indication of her Ni pales in comparison. But I don’t know fully so if anyone disagrees I’m more than open to be convinced otherwise! Just be civil and don’t make me cry haha.
