Fearful-avoidant people have negative attitudes toward themselves and others, and adults with this type may avoid intimacy with others out of fear of rejection. Although they hope that someone likes them, they are more worried that they can't be separated from others because of it, and once they have established an intimate relationship, they are often overly worried that their partner will leave them and worry all day long.
