Biographie
Abigail (Hebrew: אֲבִיגַיִל, Modern: ’Avīgayīl, Tiberian: ’Aḇīgayīl) was married to Nabal; she became married to the future King David after Nabal's death (1 Samuel 25). Abigail was David's second wife, after Saul and Ahinoam's daughter, Michal, whom Saul later married to Palti, son of Laish when David went into hiding.
