Despite the popular opinion, I’m still under the belief that the initial INFP voting was correct. I don’t see his Fe usage, and see unhealthy resistance of Ne. (quickly, I want to mention that I am describing aspects of cognitive functions here. i'm not fully defining every aspect of what Fi, Ne, ect is, and I'm mentioning the parts that i find most relevant. that doesn't mean that i am disregarding the other traits of those functions, or stating that he doesn't have them). Fi> Fe: I agree that his self concept isn’t strong, but despite that, it doesn’t mean that he’s using Fe. He’s constantly using Fi to balance out his own thoughts, beliefs, and feelings– namely and typically about his own self. He bases his “self concept” on his own interpretation of his relationships with others. So, when Es denies him motherhood, he interprets it as them being cruel towards him. He turns to Muu instead. When Es suggests that Muu could be using him, he says “So? Isn’t it a good thing? To be used by others?” He uses a very “experimental” sense of what is good or wrong, which falls outside of the socially accepted “good” or “wrong”. No matter how unhealthy, a high Fe user would still be able to distinguish the collective’s beliefs. Yet, Haruka, whose Fi is unhealthy, is prone to absurd judgements based on his own personal feelings. Therefore, he would rather be used than not be loved. I believe that, despite taking in outside opinions on himself, all those opinions are based on his own interpretation. He thinks that because he was forgiven, his actions must be right. Fi individuals seek to maintain harmony between their inner world— his beliefs have to match up with his actions. Despite that, even after being told by Es that he wasn’t “truly forgiven”, he still sticks to his idea that “he is right”. I also think that despite taking in outside opinions that people have of him, he’s more willing to turn it around to the other person. Es, who calls him an idiot, has an opinion of lower value to him. Mu, who affirms him, is placed on a pedestal. I see this as Haruka chasing to find someone who will maintain the harmony between his inner world (personal emotions, opinions, beliefs, and actions). (1/3)
