SX1 fits far better than 8. IDW Megatron actually believed in his cause. His aggression and entitlement towards fixing cybertron very much reads as a one more so than an eight. Honestly I doubt any incarnation of megatron is 8 despite them all being voted as such. He seems to either be 3, 6, or sx1.
