Joe is such an ENFP. Strong Ne with a ton of ideas and theories. Ne isn't really for future outcomes, only possibilities, which is why he gets into things thinking only about "what if" instead of "what's probably going to happen". This also comes into play with his low Si. Hence the tinkering on Ned's car in VEN without really knowing what he was doing but just going with it. He tends to lose focus because of his inferior Si. But all in all? He's a strong ENFP with a big imagination (or word-magination) and a detective to have around. And the dynamic of an ENFP and an INTJ (Frank) is so perfect for the Hardy Boys.
