I would judge either ENTP or INTP - both seem plausible. INFP doesn't make sense to me because he's way too insecure of himself and regulates his ego mostly by the others opinions, that being typically seen in - very, in his case - unhealthy, non-dominant Fe. He may be emotionally unstable and reactive, but he's clearly very smart, and in deep touch with logical reasoning patterns; always learning things by himself and putting most of his effort to further optimize his intellectual side - and he brags about it constantly, of course. His lack of control and interest in Se may be seen through his obesity, even though this is just a stereotype. But the fact that he is genetically prone to cardiac issues/high BMI and still pays little attention to his healthy or psychical appearance reinforces that his bigger mental comfort is lying on the intangible, non-carnal side of things. He is clearly not as incisive and secure as Bill, who has Te-Ni on the main, being way more structured on his own ideas. Besides the bullying, I think Josh confronts Bill's authority because he needs to prove his smartness through suppressing another big mind he, deep inside, admires/fears (?). Not quite sure if he has the real will to be the leader's group - I had already encountered this opinion out there. I lean towards INTP since his Ti is easier to spot than his Ne, but the fact alone that he is obsessed with Sci-fi themed **** show us, too, that big-picture, amplified and philosophical themes are of his best interest and align with the possibilities that his Ne is searching for in order to increase his Ti proficiency. "We are Eltingvilleclub! We have to see everything!". "This must be an illusion! I disbelieve like crazy!" (While covering his eyes). Well, and Si is Si. It Is hard to say without proper context of his past inner experiences, but by the little that is provided to us about his upbringing or past, it is clear how much he suffers with his family. His mom is basically abusive and blames him for her heart issues. Sometimes, too, he barely listens to her moral lessons. But, besides the abuse, he did take interest in classical music due to his parents and gave importance to owning collections to prove his 'geekness', as well as acquiring the old Boba Fett head directly from Bill instead of buying a new one. Plus he is a repressed (canon) bisexual, yet fairly homophobic and misogynist. He is supposed to be a blank stereotype at superficial gaze, appearance and personality wise, but the more you slip deep inside into his character, the more you see that that grotesquely comic aspect turns indeed grotesquely real.
