After the 3.0 b came out, I think Dave is an ISFJ rather than an ESTP. /////SPOILERS AHEAD//// Reading the logs again Dave is clearly in a si-ti loop. He constantly analyzing his mistakes he did in the past, isolated himself from others to get more information ( hint Tristan), and not being able to think of a conclusion for his experiments because he couldn’t find the true meaning of them. I think Dave 4 is more of a wing than his main enneagram because his 5e overtakes it so much. “Fives want to feel capable of handling a world that feels overwhelming. For people that voted Dave as a 7w6, it is okay because he seems like a 7 at first, but he is just disintegrating to a 7 when it comes to his 5e. The best example of this is in Log 4 when Dave recklessly tests various things on himself but tries to stay on a pleasant note with Tristan as this happens. Tri-type I’m still puzzled about it, I think 9 is the closes to Dave. Though I don’t mind anyone debating on this.
