I think that he's an ISTP rather than an INTP. I don't see any Ne in him, compared to other characters who actually have it. He seems to be pretty in tune with his surroundings and senses, as well as very observational. He doesn't necessarily seem to come up with possibilities and ideas, he follows what is happening or gives a suggestion and sticks with it. Definitely on the Ti-Fe axis though, that inferior fe hits hard. I'm sticking with Ni, I just don't see Ne. Maybe something can make a good analysis based on how he solves puzzles.
