At this stage of human development, humanity begins to organize itself into entire nations and kingdoms. Stage Blue is one of the most common stages in modern society today, along with Stage Orange and Stage Green. After Stage Red, Blue begins to begin a kind of order by beginning a set of rules for the violent. You can still see this today in stories of criminals or even average rebellious teenagers finding some kind of faith or secular guide of morals that makes them more disciplined. This stage in developmental psychology is associated with some (often blind) obedience to something higher, with religious books being interpreted literally. This is associated with strong nationalistic ideas of their country over others, a blind obsession with religion (or atheism, in regards to communist Russia for example), or whatever cultural traditions a society favors.
