Athena is a solid social 8. She has a presence that natural asserts itself over others. When someone is in trouble, rules and authority no longer exist; she is in charge. However, she can accidentally suppress her vulnerabilities, later coming out in aggression. I’d say this E8 description encapsulates Athena’s struggles pretty well: “If this is your subtype, you often embody the archetype of the matriarch or the patriarch who takes care of everybody, although you may not see the cost of this. By disregarding your own well-being, you tend to sacrifice yourself. You may feel challenged when it comes to caring for yourself or allowing others to take care of you.
