(WARNING: Spoilers about the Delirium series are below.) Re-reading the Delirium series recently, I would say Hana uses the following functions in this order: Se - Fi - Te - Ni Se (Extroverted Sensing): Throughout the book series, Hana tends to focus more on the present, jumping right into things and being spontaneous (Se) instead of reflecting on details of past experiences and observing situations (Si). You can see the clear difference between her (a Se user) and Lena (a Si user). Hana wanted to live her life to the fullest, get out, party, and make new experiences before her freedom to feel at full capacity would get taken away. Meanwhile, because of her past experiences of her mother and sister catching the disease, Lena was more cautious and thought Hana's behavior was reckless and stupid. Fi (Introverted Feeling): In Delirium, you could see Hana was the type of person to focus more on her feelings (Fi) instead of trying to read the feelings of others (Fe). However, this part of her got toned down after she got cured, and you could see more Te usage from her. Te (Extroverted Thinking): Hana tends to focus more on already-proven facts (Te) instead of figuring things out for herself (Ti). In Requiem, you can see her use this function more. Ni (Introverted Intuition): Hana tends to focus more on patterns, narrowing things down, and the big picture (Ni) instead of various possibilities (Ne). But the way you can tell this was her inferior function was that she reported Alex and Lena's relationship out of jealousy without thinking of the long-term consequences her actions would have on them AND Lena's family. No. She did not think about how doing this could ENDANGER her friends' lives, and if that's not proof that her Ni is inferior, I don't know what is. If you want, feel free to share your Delirium character MBTI-type arguments with me. I would love to hear them as long as you address me nicely.
