Agent Harrington is not an ISTJ but is a Well developed INTP. A good character along side our Protagonist to so how types with similar functions work on different sides of the law. Ti: Harrington has great Ti and constantly integrates throughout the series stuff into her logical framework inside her head. While she acts in a Te esque way throughout the story due to her job it almost always comes from her Ti inner logic guiding her actions. She can easily draw and make new conclusions using her Ne data. Her Ti makes her much more practical then her seemingly Ne dominant partner Ne: She is almost constantly looking for something new to do and has a eclectic knowledge and interests which she synthesize into new notions. A love for new technology and inventions Si: methodical and has good memory of events taking place around her. She is a more ordered form of chaotic. Fe: Now, one may ask, can an INTP be good with people, of course! Intps are not just socially inept nerds but can be rather good with people. Many Intps cultivate a unique form of charm which is shown rather well in Harrington. She has mature use of her Fe using it to charm others. However she is shown to be awkward in situations such as when asking out Ameila and sometimes just going on tangents. She also has shown to have some social insecurity issues such as asking her partner if her hair looked ok. This asking for reassurance is common in INTPs especially immature ones but can also manifest in more mature ones sometimes. Overall she is a great INTP cop. Effective and good at her job. But is not perfect and is shown flaws such as a dependency on her partner. (I feel like they mesh so well that they would have a hard time working with anyone else) And some insecurities.
