I think he’s an ISFP who represents himself as ISTP because he wants to hide his true personality in order to not get hurt. Even though he tries to use Ti in some situations, he cannot do it succesfully because his inner conflicts and emotions (Fi) always prevents him from being objective. His Ti is extremely low and I think his unhealthy Fi is clear. It is also the main reason why he believed Deborah’s lies so easily since his personal belief system didn’t contain any objectivity. You can see in the game that Castiel has a huge tendency to see things in an extremely good or extremely bad way without being rational. He has an extremely subjective perspective about things and people. I.e, in order to get Castiel’in attention during the HSL, you have to agree with everything he says, pretend like you have same likes & dislikes with him and shouldn’t say anything that doesn’t match with his personal beliefs. Also you can see in the game that his dislike towards Nathaniel wasn’t because of a rationally specific reason but because Nathaniel’s personality contradicts with his personal belief system. Also he used to believe that Nathaniel was a “bad” person when he saw him with Deborah because he was %100 sure that Deborah is a “good” girl that would never come into Nathaniel like that, which is also the indicator of his unhealthy Fi. He saw Deborah as an angel and Nathaniel as a bad guy without listening the story from him, which shows how far he is from using Ti. His beliefs don’t based on objectivity and rationality since he places a huge importance in his subjective thoughts and emotions. When Deborah came back, you can also see how Castiel’s main concern was about what will be the “right” thing to do and episode 16 was literally about Castiel’s inner conflict about believing Deborah or Candy. That is why I think he tries to act like a Ti user but his Ti is really undeveloped and he’s an actual ISFP.
