[1/2] HELLO!!! If you know who I am you know I’m a freak and I literally re-watch/re-read a show, film, or book whenever I need to type its characters because I’d prefer to know every single detail so I will be supplying with specific quotes from episodes. I wanted to touch base with Sayaka first though, as her enneagram being so mistyped hurts me. ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚﹒𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗞𝗔 𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗜 𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝟲 — [𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡] ╰┈➤ Throughout grade school, Sayaka was proven to be incredibly dedicated to her grades and schoolwork, climbing up the ranks in order to become top of the school system itself, including the Hyakkaou Private Academy we all know and love. However, her dedication was never to “be the best” or be in pursuit of knowledge. Her efforts, instead, read as incredibly aimless in nature. Her focus defaulted to school because it was the most important thing in her life at the time and something she knew she could be consistently successful at. In S2 EP9, Midari has a conversation with Yuriko about the upcoming game between Sayaka and Yumeko: • “At middle school, everyone thought she was a genius. Consistently getting top marks in mock university exams and out-shining high-schoolers. Kinda freaky. But then, I never really thought of her as a genius. She just studied, morning, noon, and night. Obviously, more than she actually needed to. So why did she do it? She didn’t have a real reason! She just wanted to be number one.” I believe her efforts were a bit like Yumemi’s — she didn’t actually enjoy what she did; she was simply using it as a stepping stool to get even farther up. She never actually cared about excelling in that aspect — unlike Yumemi, however, Sayaka never had any long-term ambitions. She felt misplaced in this world. That was, until Kirari Momobami made herself known in Hyakkaou Private Academy. When Kirari took down the former student council president with ease Kirari immediately formed a sense of infatuation with her. Why? She completely defied logic and any need for order, which is something Sayaka had based her entire life on up to that point. Kirari, in a sense, is an untouchable being. When Sayaka dedicated her entire life to this ethereal woman, she dedicated herself to an untouchable figure of authority and power that she was more than happy to dedicate herself to. She wants to be part of something bigger than herself. To her, Kirari is courage and power she could never possess. Hence, she feels the need to attach herself to her not only because she loves her, but because she’s comfortable as long as she is protected by the authority Kirari provides. A very “there’s safety in numbers” mentality. Sayaka *needs* support and reassurance via commitments, obligations, and contracts and needs to know that her hard work will not be taken advantage of. Let’s look at the way Naranjo characterizes so6s. — “Social E6 is cold, very formal [...] had that character form that has a great love of precision and an intolerance for ambiguity. This is precisely the complete opposite of the six conservation, which is warm and feels too permissive for ambiguity. In efficiency, the social E6 is similar to an E3. Ichazo used the word duty, it is more than just being concerned with duty, since the social six are concerned above all with the reference point. They have the mind of a legislator, the categories clear. Their intellectual orientation is to know very well where the north is, where the south is, and the west, and the east, and ... And if you ever wanted to become human, you would first need to go crazy and forget about all the points of reference. They need to forget duty - no duty - and connect with instinct and intuition, with life.” So6s are often described as stoic which rings true for Sayaka. Her emotional expression is obviously very limited, as she maintains a calm composure for the most part even when stronger emotional reactions would be more appropriate. It is also evident in the lack of life she had in her eyes [https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/kakegurui/images/d/d9/SayakaStressed.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20190714070547]. She doesn’t get that glimmer in her eyes back unless its concerning Kirari (eg: Once the Tarot game with Yumeko and Kirari was over, she was happy to see the latter was safe, as well as when she confessed her love to Kirari on the tower). Not to mention how impaired her sympathy is for the sake of an objective formula and/or system and how she rarely complains or takes her own feelings into account. Moreover, Heart triad > Head triad for Sayaka would be highly fallacious of her character. The head triad focuses on fear, how they navigate through a dangerous world, processing using the mind, and asking questions. The heart triad focuses on shame, who they are supposed to be to yourself and others, the shame of not measuring up to that image, and emotional processing. CONTINUED IN REPLIES

Biografi

Sayaka Igarashi is a supporting character in Kakegurui. She is the Secretary of the Student Council and the Personal Assistant of the current Student Council President, Kirari Momobami. She is a very intelligent and serious girl, who deeply cares about the school and Student Council. She is endlessly loyal to the Student Council President where she stated that Kirari is her one true love and she would do anything for her. Kirari states, how much Sayaka is driven by logic. Her and Kirari's wildly different personalities seem to be what attracts them to each other. Sayaka actually despises gambling, but was still fascinated by Kirari.
