I know this might come across as a shallow take, but hear me out. Her way of interfering in Mai and Renako relationship by sending Lucie is Te-dom nature in my opinion. If she were Ni-dom, she probably would have approached the situation in a more strategic way that could actually work. I also don't think she is an ESTJ, because she clearly doesn't mind Mai marrying a woman. Of course, that doesn't mean ESTJs can't be geh or support geh relationships, but the way she reasons through things are different. As I understand it, ESTJs base their perspective on a fixed system they have built through experience (Te-Si). This helps them avoid the uncertain possibilities that their Ne might generate. By contrast, ENTJs build their system from external data (Se), refine it with Ni, and then act based on the vision their Ni provides (Te-Ni). That's why ESTJs often come across as more rigid or less open to new possibilities compared to ENTJs. Mai also explicitly said that her mother is doing all of this "for her sake." To me, that shows Te-Ni sign, her actions are structured around a future-oriented vision she believes will benefit Mai, even if the methods seem questionable for some people.
