Barty Crouch Jr. is a character that resonates with me quite deeply. His past, his hatred for his father, as well as how his father’s neglect altered his mind. He is quite sociopathic, shown from his amoral lens and complete disregard for others. He has no remorse nor empathy and acts upon his own selfishness and loyalty to Lord Voldemort. He happens to be quite strategic, analytical, intelligent, competent, volatile, logical, deceptive, manipulative, and arrogant. He shows his Ne through his ability to adapt easily, displayed from imitating mad-eye moody. Also, he definitely imagines possibilities and future outcomes from the ability to strategise quite well and remain as Moody for so long. He also has Ti rather than Fi as a second function. Yes, I recognise his need for approval and issues with his father and the need to be a faithful servant; however, these factors manifest in a more calculating manner than just sheer emotional desperation or values. He’s sociopathic, he has no values. He functions in a controlling, competent manner, using logic and accuracy to get through life. He cares about what makes sense rather than what feels right. He would have to have Ti for his ability to deceive and impersonate so well and from the fact he curated his entire scheme and literally tricked the 700 years old goblet of fire. Oh, he also hates Death Eaters who are cowards and who would rather plead innocent, this is a fine example of him favouring accuracy and logic and loyalty to the Dark Lord. He also is arrogant for viewing himself as the best Death Eater, and he cares about his image and is ambitious as well as efficient, so he would be a 3. He also cares about achieving, another factor for why he is a 3. The wing 4 is present through his intensity and obsession, admiration, and need for approval from Lord Voldemort. Now, for my stance that he is an 368 is since he’s ambitious and image conscious, quite loyal to Voldemort, and is controlling and aggressive. Everything else is self explanatory from my observations. And he would not be an 4w5 because he does not care about authenticity and is not introspective at all. He is meticulous and cold, and indeed he may be quite emotional at times, but that does not indicate that his main motive is his own values and should not erase his true intellectual, ruthless, fanatical, strategic nature. I’m so passionate about his character.

Bartemius "Barty" Crouch Junior (c. 1962 - 1995) was a wizard and the son of Bartemius Crouch Senior. He became an ardent follower of Lord Voldemort in order to become a Death Eater and Dark Wizard in his teenage years. He was the first escapee of Azkaban prison in its almost 300 year history, though only his father, late mother and the family house-elf knew until 1994, when it was revealed to Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter, Minerva McGonagall and Severus Snape whilst Crouch was under the influence of Veritaserum.
