I never understood why she was typed as e6, she quite clearly isn’t a social 6 and retains a very naïve view of the wasteland despite her life experiences (for instance, being happy that the sole survivor returns the deathclaw egg instead of handing it over for caps). I believe she is a 7. She attempts to act morally upright where possible and her “likes” are usually defined by the sole survivor being just, fair, even in some cases where being fair requires being an *******. She is also completely fine with manipulation if in the end, it does lead Piper closer to her ideal of the “truth”. She is hypocritical in upholding her morals (ie, it’s fine when Piper does it, but Piper will dislike sole doing it), and since this is a bethesda game we don’t know if this is a bug or a feature. I will weakly attribute this to the attitude of E7’s ability to be self referring and rationalise everything they do. She is rather clearly Fi aux or dom, but I can’t see her attitude as a cognitively introverted one, and being a seven is a terrible fit for an ESFP, contrary to popular belief. If you’re unfamiliar with this being contradictory it’s because Se dominance is highly objective and able to perceive the physical world with ease, whereas a sexual or social seven (I believe Piper is a sexual seven) relies heavily on viewing reality as subjective, and being able to rationalise parts of reality to make them seem better and more idealistic than they really are. As such, her dominant function should be extraverted intuition. It is not as concrete as extraverted sensing but it is still an extraverted perceiving attitude which fits Piper well. She is nosey (phrased kindly, she is “highly inquisitive”) and will attempt to satisfy her endless curiosity even if it leads her to danger. This is a typical, elementary Ne attitude. As for her enneagram, I find it more likely that Piper’s means of defence is rationalisation as opposed to constantly screening the world for safe and unsafe. And, notedly, Piper can even be seen to have a tendency for exaggeration or theorising in her work, even if she attempts to hold it to the truth. I think this indicates her being sexual seven>any six subtype, the dreamer that twists reality into something better and more exciting. She is SXUAI. Frankly I feel calling Piper limbic off the bat is unfair. I think the fact she speaks up about what makes her upset or irritated may overshadow the more overarching calmness and drive she has normally. She is able to compose herself in situations and push emotions aside. I think I lean towards calm for her. For her sociotype, for much the same reasons above she is not SEE. I think it is odd to claim she is extraverted sensing base in that system. I think her sociotype, typical of ENFPs, is IEE. In attitudinal psyche, I don’t want to do the work in their system. Perhaps stereotypically EFLV? But, again, I don’t like using attitudinal psyche. In psychosophy, I think she is ELFV (definitely first emotions and process logic, I would also consider EVLF, EFLV) If I am being honest I do not know why she is voted e6 in the first place. She can only be RHETI e6 at first glance and a subtype of six (sexual over social I imagine???) if you disregard actual E6 trait structure.
Biografi
Piper Wright is a reporter living in Diamond City in 2287, running the local newspaper Publick Occurrences with her younger sister, Nat. She will eventually offer her services as a companion to the Sole Survivor, either after they agree to an interview or after they defeat Conrad Kellogg. Piper is a rather lonely woman who feels isolated in Diamond City. She has a strong drive to better the world and does not want to be complacent, causing her to become a writer in order to try to reduce the corruption within the town. Piper has a rapport with Nick Valentine as they both are investigators. Her tendency to find the latest scoop and the truth can cause others to find her nosy and annoying, however, resulting in her having few friends. She is highly perceptive, however, and was able to deduce the mayor was a synth. She tends to enjoy sarcasm.
