Kepribadian
"Jenis kepribadian apa itu Martha? Martha adalah tipe kepribadian INTJ di mbti, 7w8 - - di enneagram, dalam Big 5, dalam socionics."
Martha - fiery, highly intelligent young Socialist and companion, confidante and steadfast adorer of Cora Seaborne. Dominant Ni: Martha is obsessed with her vision of what the world could be. She goes for what she wants at any one time: Socialism, Cora, Edward Burton - at the exclusion of everything else. Martha zeroes in on her target, and uses her whip-fast thinking to try and get there, risking everything to win big. She is unafraid of using people - specifically Spencer's affection for her - to get her where she wants to be. Auxiliary Te: Not just an idle planner, Martha is fully engrossed in actualizing the possibilities she has envisioned. When she's not stewing in her thoughts, Martha is on the move. Fulfilling her duties to Cora and Frankie with Te efficiency, and then relentlessly organizing every resource around her to push for socialist policy. Unfortunately, Cora's affections themselves are not so easily captured by Martha's rather cold process. Will's Ni/Fe world appeals richly to Cora's fascination with the ideational and interpersonal, whereas Martha's Ni/Te is too systematic and rigid to charm the insatiable explorer - even if that Ni/Te is in the pursuit of the alleviation of human suffering. Tertiary Fi: Martha is fundamentally motivated by her powerful anger at the injustices in society. She feels the hurt to herself keenly that she has experienced as a result of her gender and her class. While not so individualistic to the extent that Cora is, Martha is still determined to stand out from the crowd. Where Cora is more open about this, however, Martha is more subtle - preferring to pull the strings (specifically, Spencer's money-laden strings) from the background to stamp her unique identity on the world. She also feels the hurt of Cora's lack of romantic affection for her very keenly, and reacts quite emotionally at moments where this rejection is particularly evident. Inferior Se: Martha can sometimes be hampered by her inability to assess the reality of the situation around her. She yells at Charles Ambrose in the street to no effect and harbors her love for Cora with an inability to recognize that it is not reciprocal. Also, in a parallel to Will, she indulges in sensory stimulation when stressed, which is not more clear than in her one-night-stand with Luke as they both seethe over Cora's rejection of them and affection for Will.
