I can understand the E5 votes, as Bive is obsessed with understanding the hidden systems of the world. But I think this misses the most crucial element of her character. Bive’s personality is a complete, all-encompassing worldview built on a foundation of deep-seated fear and suspicion. She is easily startled, distrustful of almost everyone and everything, and tends to shout her beliefs as if constantly on the defensive. Her life’s mission is to uncover the vast, hidden conspiracies she believes are controlling the world, including that the government is run by circus clowns and that “ROCKS ARE SQUISHY.” E5s observe the world from a distance to conserve energy and feel competent. Bive is the exact OPPOSITE of detached; SHE IS CONSTANTLY AGITATED, EMOTIONALLY REACTIVE, AND INTENSELY ENGAGED WITH THE THREATS SHE PERCEIVES EVERYWHERE. This is not the core motivations and behaviors of an E5, but an E6. More specifically, she is a maniacal example of a Social Six (SO6), who searches for a trustworthy authority or system of belief to quell their anxiety. In Bive’s case, she has created her own ultimate system: her conspiracy theories. She clings to them with absolute certainty because they provide a complete, if terrifying, explanation for everything. For an SO6, HAVING A TRUTH TO BELIEVE IN, EVEN A HORRIFYING ONE, IS BETTER THAN THE ANXIETY OF UNCERTAINTY. This desire to seek her version of the truth is her “Duty” as an SO6. Finally, a classic SO6 trait is to project all their doubt and suspicion onto any person or system that falls outside their trusted ideology. Bive is a master of this; she doesn’t trust doctors, the government, corporations, or most of the other characters because they are all part of the very same “system” she is fighting against. So while Bive uses her intellect to spread her “truth,” her entire character is a raw and powerful expression of a Core 6’s anxiety. (Also, I definitely agree with INTP. I see her Ne as fueling her conspiracy theories rather than being in a grip of worrying about possibilities.)
