6w7s are very commonly mistaken for 7w6s because they do often appear quite typically 7ish regarding the whole searching for fun and possibilities angle. Min’s e7 consensus, i feel, is an excellent example of this. enneagram 7 is assertive + frustration + positivist. whilst i do think that Min has positivist influences from her wing and tri, she is clearly (imo) not a frustration core and is equally clearly not an assertive core. frustration + assertive core translates to someone who is willing to bulldoze others’ feelings to get what they want or is less of others’ feelings even with a strong 9 fix, where as Min consistently puts others’ needs above her own throughout the book series and is very very protective towards her friends and her lover Rand. she also changes and develops a great deal over the book series, changing her “style” or method of dealing with people based on situations - something typical and most noticeable in attachment cores. her reactivity is easy to see (if more surface level easygoing) from chapters in her perspective, and as aforementioned she consistently puts the needs of others above her own - something which is superego > assertive. 6 is superego + attachment + reactive. she might appear typically 7ish but lacks the 3 key aspects. 6w7 is therefore her type imo.
