Alright, time for another post where I won’t seem to agree with what everyone else has to say. I’m going to entertain the idea of so9 Astra. I thought she was going to be quite the heart type at the start and it makes sense given she’s an idol and that she would need to act in a way that makes her seem the most desirable to her fans, except she….doesn’t. One of Astra’s greatest qualities the narrative loves to rub in your face is that she does the exact opposite and is such a genuine person in her work, that even Evelyn couldn’t comprehend the idea of Astra not having an ulterior motive at first. Sx3 or any E3 would be particularly bad for this since they’re all about faking themselves to what is most desired and being in-genuine about who they are. Astra on the other hand just wants to give hope to people through her music and live as the person she wants to be beyond all the business of the idol industry which makes me lean more towards so9. She just feels like someone who seeks for bonds amongst others and prefers to value genuine relationships over superficial or fake ones, which no E3 would bother to strive for. The best way to put it is that she’s just someone who lives in the present and wants to enjoy time with those around her to friendly degree, a perfect so9 representation imo. I also would like to entertain FELV>FVLE because FVLE as an archetype is way too bullheaded and combative for the type of person Astra is. She’s quicker to react in the FELV manner of passiveness. It would also explain why she has heart type mannerisms as strong E would lead her to be way more expressive with them and as Astra puts it she actively wants to showcase them to the world in order to bring the people hope in the face of inevitable destruction. So there’s my hot take of the week. If anyone has anything they’d like to say about Astra being heart type or any other PY feel free to reply!
