I’m going to write the same argument for both young joon and mi so here, and kind of compare their types a bit: Young joon - INTJ Honestly, I’m not sure where the Si votes are coming from. He is a clear Ni user and it shows in many ways. 1. In the first few episodes, every time some thing was weird and he wanted to understand what was ‘wrong’ with mi so, after talking it out with president park, he would just make a decision based on his hunch and just go with that, trusting in his decision fully. He is an independent thinker of sorts. 2. He is not practical in any way. Examples: the time when he tried to win the plushie machine repeatedly, forgetting everything else. Also, the time when he stayed up the entire night just to watch over Mi so while she slept. Both are classic of Ni-Se users, anything can be done, forgetting what is practical or good for you. 3. For those who might think he uses Si because of his trauma, that’s Si demon if anything. He is unable to cope with his past. 4. Comparing with Mi so, he is clearly the less cautious one. Examples are the times the company went drinking and he was just trying to having fun, Mi so was the one being cautious and practical, reminding him that he needs to take care of himself, work tomorrow etc. 5. Finally of course, he had the grand plan of keeping Mi so by his side for 9 years. Not that Si users can’t have that same endurance, but the way that he focused on that as all that mattered to him in his romantic life again shows that he’s forgoing the expectations of those around him to pursue other relationships for his own health’s sake, for his family etc. those were not even considerations for him. 6. The reason why INTJ over ENTJ, both Ni and Te are clear. But I believe the way he kept the secret without giving an inch of it away points to inferior Se. ENTJ might be quite impulsive at times, maybe talking too much while drunk, getting it on with Ji ran in a fling or something. When he asked Mi so if she knew who he was at the company dinner, he kept completely silent when she said no. That also points to Fi in a way that romance was one of his private priorities, though he did not show it until much later. He seems a little to kind and passionate for an Fi inferior by the end of the series. Not to mention his seeming clumsiness/awkwardness, like falling in the bus, around the staff at dinners etc. It also points to Se inferior. Mi So - ESFJ Don’t know where the Ni can be seen, perhaps it’s a misunderstanding of voters of what Ni actually is. 1. As mentioned previously in point 4, Mi so is the cautious one, reminding young joon to take care of himself and all. She takes care of herself in a practical way too, also sleeping on time, skin care routine, getting to work on time. She doesn’t get why young joon behaves in his obsessive way. 2. She’s too dutiful, accepting, fine-with-routine to be an Ni user. Again, not that an Ni user cannot do these things, but after nine years, she would at least have given her input about certain things, perhaps requesting a promotion, tried to help the company with her ideas, for example. 3. Just because she had a hunch that Young joon was the boy she met, doesn’t make her an Ni user. The way she investigated was showing more Ne, if anything. Also Si in a way, in the step by step approach she took. 4. She never had dreams/ideas of her own. All she wanted was to pay off her dads loans, get married to someone (no idea who when or how), settle down… 5. Fe dom and Ti inferior shows perhaps in her fake smiles when she’s angry, doesn’t really let people know what she thinks, just puts up with their bs for the time being. Also when she gets angry and behaves sarcastically to young joon, I don’t think an Fe aux would do that so easily and smoothly. Some use of Fi there perhaps. Another example of inferior Ti, is her shock every time young joon or her sister knocks on her door. She is always so shocked and confused and starts mumbling something in a rush. Not very cool headed is perhaps what I’m trying to get at. Doesn’t know how to deal with the situation logically so she just haphazardly throws everything into a pile. Perhaps in the first few episodes, one might conclude young joon as an Si user and Mi so as the Ni user (maybe her mysterious intentions idk), which makes sense, but the by the end once all truths come to light I think who the actual Ni and Si users are are pretty clear.
