inui's ni is incredibly strong. he makes quick judgments of people based on his own intuition. kokonoi even describes it - "look, inupi. 'i saw the future of the black dragons in hanagaki.' you told me that, all idealistic, but this is reality." - in chapter 142, inui relates takemichi's words to those of shinichiro and is quick to rely on and trust takemichi based purely on intuition. he seems incredibly idealistic because his decisions are based on his own impressions. even his recollection of the past aligns with his ni use. his memory is centered around his own ideal - recreating the black dragons how shinichiro intended - but his recollection of details is lackluster, instead much more focused on the bigger picture to further evidence of this ideal. ni is one of his strongest functions, and he's developed it incredibly well. i don't notice his se as much, but his inf te is also very clear. in stress is when he becomes incredibly blunt and somewhat cold - in his fight with kokonoi, he looks for a reaction out of him by bluntly criticizing his attachment to the past. my ISFP king with high ni use
