"Jenis kepribadian apa itu Tom Brady? Tom Brady adalah tipe kepribadian ESTJ di mbti, 3w2 - so/sx - 317 di enneagram, SCOEN dalam Big 5, LSE dalam socionics."
The ENFPs are UNDERSTANDABLY insulted when ESTJ voters imply that Brady couldn't be ENFP because he is so successful. Success or lack thereof should never be a reason for typing someone anyway! Any type can be successful or a flop. What I see people repeatedly failing to articulate is that Brady's cognition is not driven by ideational exploration as an ENFP's is. ENFPs are frequently a slave to the wheels turning in their brain. ENFPs see "past the game" to the implications and ideas implied by concrete reality. Consequently, they are not likely to be so grounded and caught up in the contest as Brady continually demonstrates himself to be. Brady is someone who runs plays and drills over and over till he perfects his performance. This is textbook Si and Te in combination. He trusts experience and objective logic to see him through to victory. Someone with inferior Si, such as an ENFP, would likely feel stifled by the level of repetition that Brady routinely embraces. Martellus Bennett, who played with both Brady and Aaron Rodgers, said of Brady, "It's just repetition. He does so many repetitions with you, whether it's mental reps, physical reps, or walk-through, he's always letting you know. He communicates the best of what he expects." At the risk of repeating myself, this is textbook Te and Si. The biggest problem for the ENFP voters is that they really need to establish arguments for dominant Ne and auxiliary Fi, not just establish that Brady could conceivably be an ENFP. He definitely could. That's not the point. Show us the evidence for ENFP. To argue that he could be ENFP, when he demonstrates so many clear ESTJ qualities and thought patterns, seems to ignore the blatantly obvious in favor of a less likely possibility. ESTJ voters have found countless quotes where Brady talks about how his decision-making is driven by a desire to win. That he embraces practice and practice and repetition as he looks to achieve. Putting those quotes aside, where are the quotes demonstrating his Ne, that he likes to consider all points of view? Where are the quotes that show him rejecting traditional objective logic in favor of what he personally values and likes? I'm not saying that these quotes don't exist. I'm just saying that the Te- and Si-demonstrating quotes are so much easier to find. He obviously has Ne and Fi. But there's not nearly enough evidence that they are his two main functions to vote him an ENFP. I've seen some weak evidence for high Fi, that basically entails him making decisions that weren't just soulless and calculated. That's just as insulting to ESTJs as the anti-ENFP arguments frequently have been to ENFPs. So are the arguments that he's too light-hearted and funny to be an ESTJ. I mean, come on! Everyone makes decisions based on their values sometimes. Doesn't mean that they have high Fi. And, an aside, Brady didn't choose to take less money because of Fi values. He chose to take less money so his team could afford better players and he would have a better chance of winning. It was a Te-strategic decision all the way! I try not to argue about people who I think share my personality type, but I don't really admire Brady personally, so this is not a case of claiming someone for the tribe. As an ESTJ who once mistyped as an ENFP, I can tell you that we are not all the cold, oppressive, and humorless stereotypes that we are frequently made out to be. My friends actually believed I was ENFP for several years. So, I don't think it's at all inconceivable that Brady is an ENFP. An ENFP could certainly accomplish all that he has. I just think he seems like a much more obvious Te-dom. I would go ENTJ over ENFP personally. His Te is just too central to his thinking from my point of view.
