SPOILERS Look, I would've typed him as an Ne dom too, if his character hadn't been revealed to be a complete fraud by the end. I'm not saying that ENTPs or ENFPs can't be conmen, I just think that an Ne dom would have, perhaps, gone about it differently? I don't know. All I see is a lot of ideas not even marginally thought through (all the half-assed attempts he sends through fax), and a lot of spur-of-the-moment, pretty spontaneous decisionmaking. After the big reveal, I could actually spot a distinct lack of Ni (he couldn't care less about the future implications of a really dangerous invention) and minimal Ne (he was only able to "steal" other people's ideas, he never actually invented anything based on abstract connections he himself made through world observation). What he's REALLY good at is taking advantage of the perfect occasion, and interacting directly with his environment (think of the moment when he burns the napkin that was being held right in front of his face). That, to me, spells clear Se usage. Plus, he's sort of good at manipulating his friends and associates for his own ends, and that might be a sign of Fe-tert. Seeing as I wasn't able to see any evidence of Fi in him, I'm going with ESTP 7w6, a hippy version of the stereotypical Chad (with all due respect to Chads, they make great comedy characters).
