I'm not sure if he's a 1 actually. i feel like he's sp 6? judging from how he acts, but he definitely has 1 in his tritype Worry . Obsession about details, about getting it right , fussy someone who never ceases to check and double-check ("Will enough people come to the banquet?" "Will the car have enough gas?"). Covert anger, covert death wishes (e.g., if your son is late, anger gets translated by reaction formation into "I was so concerned !"). The true perfectionist who worries a lot, wants things under control and tries to anticipate risks and problems. I can relate with him to some degrees, I don't think the core is there :? he doesn't seem to have the Warmth (harmless). Very soft, "See how nice I am?" Like an animal showing its soft underbelly, "I'm no threat." Completely the opposite of Strength and Beauty ; here it's based on convincing the other, "I'm completely unarmed, very soft, so you can drop your own arms." There are polarities of strength and weakness, although you don't speak of "weakness," you speak of life as an exchange of affection. Nikolai is quite hesitant to trust and be friends with people, judging from how he is. he has issues with trust and while sam is maybe sx 6? now that I think about it tbh. (also to note, your fixes doesn't have to correlate with your core iv. so he can be sp 1, but be sx 6) niko and sam get along quite well. sam feels safe and is said that he feels like he can tell nikolai anything. while nikolai may not show his fear verbally like sam, I think it manifests in how he wishes to protect sam and keep sam feel safe (in his route). even when sam comes out of the mine after killing jack, nikolai becomes defensive and angry because of what happened to sam; he wants to protect sam and cares lots of sam. Nikolai also can confide in sam and they both compliment each other: one is the calm, affectionate, and "protector" in sam's eyes, whereas nik feels like he can trust sam with his personal feelings and is able to talk with personally with sam. Aside from that, niko is someone who is reserved, distant, quiet, not that sociable, willing to just get through with the day and what he is given, and overall, lives a simple life, not asking for much, aside from someone to love and hold. from what I remember, niko also feels bad when he goes to sam for the "appointments" and that he pays less and even when sam reassures that niko that sam wants niko, niko still feels bad and that it's not fair. even when sam falters (if I remember correctly) in reassuring niko, niko immediately decides that he won't visit anymore because he feels bad that he can't pay the full price. I think the fear of this stems from low-self-steem imo, which I've seen frequently in 9, 6, and 4, 2 types. you can argue for 9, but hmm, shrug. I think the 6 core fits more due to him hiding his feelings and not trusting others with his own feelings. he doesn't seem that 5like in terms of researching to feel secure and only relying on himself; he can rely on others for help that he deems trustworthy. As a side note, sp 6 can look like 2s as I have a lot of 2 traits, but boiling it down, it just comes down as to why they're acting that way. the reason why sp 6s can look like 2s is because the security that they desire, is in the form of a person and person that they feel safe and can confide in pretty much. they'll do many things to uphold that form of security (which also can applies to other 6 iv types in terms of upholding their security.) also for 2 vs 4 it's hard to tell? we're not really him.. to be honest. he's not too concerned with his self-image aside from being someone who is just easygoing and is trustworthy from what I've noticed. I think 2 would fit more! but for some reason, i feel like he has 4? but I can be entirely wrong about that tbh
