~SPOILERS~ Two things: 1. Where is Asta's Fi? 2. How is Asta a type 6? 1- Asta is a clear Fe user. She's always urging Harry to be empathetic with others and understand where they're coming from. While this may seem like something any person would do when teaching an alien to be human, there's a lot more evidence of her Fe. Asta's a very sociable, compassionate person who can easily connect with other peoples' emotions and experiences. She's more about what the group values > her values. She's always talking about what the town wants, her friends want, and what her family stands for. Asta is focused on the feel of a community, and associates most of her identity with her family's values and Patience's values. I feel like people think that ISFJs can't be logical or tough on the exterior. If you go into the functions, and beyond her disposition, you can see that Asta values Fe-Ti over Te-Fi. 2- Asta is a 2w1. This is clearly explored in Season 3 when D'arcy accuses Asta of needing people to take care of so that they can love her; basically that the only way she thinks she can get love is if people need her. Asta admits to this in the season finale: "Okay, I know that I'm a caretaker because sometimes I don't want to look at my own s**t. But sometimes when I take care of people, that is taking care of me." Literally classic 2 statement. We can see Asta's "Pride" in her relationship with Harry, feeling a sense of jealousy or protectiveness when he started to get more independent from her. She tends to think she knows what's best for Harry because he's an alien and she's who's helped him this whole time. I think there's a fear there that if Harry is fully sufficient without her, Asta wouldn't be valuable to him anymore.
