Hard to say. It’s an observant art; you really do have to be using Se to do it. But if an INFP were to take a stab, I think their Fi-Si could carry them. I think it could be almost childish, depending on how strong their Si is. An Si dominant would be most inclined towards haiku, I think, as they can have a very subjective feeling of what they observe. When they read haiku, it would hit harder for them than most types because they have a stronger basis of sensory data and the feelings associated to recollect. I can see Ni dominants doing this too, but only if they’re seeing some other value in it. They won’t naturally see value in just observing things and their feelings and then writing it down. It’ll be more metaphorical than most haiku. They’d probably try to observe something but then write with something else in mind, which defeats the purpose of haiku if there is one. They could do it though. ISFPs are interesting, I think it’s similar to INFP. It could be childish; they wouldn’t be able to get everything they want on the page with only 17 syllables. It would be too connected to themselves, too personal. I think them and INFPs would be more inclined towards other prose, ISFPs specifically likely more inclined towards visual or musical arts. That isn’t to say that IFPs couldn’t make a good haiku, I know they can. Any type can. I just think theoretically their cognitive preferences would lead them somewhere else, where they can use the arts to actually express themselves.
